The Savage Storm enter the contest following a road-loss to Northeastern State, while the Lions come in with a 4-11 record and a 1-2 mark in Lone Star Conference North Division play after falling to East Central, 77-72.
SE is averaging 76.3 ppg, despite only breaking the 70 point plateau just once in the last four contests.
They also still own a 7.8 ppg average margin of victory and are shooting 44.6 percent from the field.
Destiny Brown and Kacey Russell pace the squad with 13.3 ppg and 12.9 ppg, respectively, while Elizabeth Dean and Christin Nichols are each pitching in better than 8.0 ppg.
Brown also leads the squad on the boards with 8.8 rpg, while the Storm as a team are pulling down 38.7 rpg, an advantage of 1.1 rpg over the competition.
Nikki Nester quarterbacks SE with 3.8 assists per outing, while five players total have 20-plus assists on the year.
Brown also adds a little extra on defense, blocking an average of 2.0 shots per contest.
TAMUC is led by Mattilyn McIntyre who is putting up 14.4 ppg, while Nakazi Glover and Genevieve Campbell each join her in double figures at 12.2 ppg and 11.9 ppg, respectively.
Ashley Murphy paces the club on the boards with 8.2 rpg, with Glover next in line at 5.6 rpg.
Campbell and Nikki Garner each have 32 assists total on the season, while six players total have double-figure assists totals on the year.
The Lions are averaging 63.9 ppg on the season, but allowing opponents an average of 76.3 ppg.
TAMUC is hitting 38.0 percent from the field, while their foes are hitting at a 43.9 percent clip.
