The Savage Storm enter the contest following a narrow road-loss to Northeastern State, while the Lions come in with a 14-4 record and a 3-0 mark in Lone Star Conference North Division play after a 101-83 win over East Central.
SE enters the contest averaging 58.6 ppg, while holding opponents to 65.8 per outing.
The SE defense is holding opponents to 40.0 percent shooting from the field.
Darrell Hicks leads the scoring for SE with 12.0 ppg, while Mychal Horn is chipping in 10.7 ppg and Williams Slones is adding 10.3 ppg.
Slones paces the squad on the boards with 8.4 rpg, while Chibuzo ELonu is right behind with 7.6 rpg.
As a team, SE is outrebounding opponents 38.1-to-36.4.
Horn is leading the offense to the tune of 3.5 assists per game, while two others have more than 20 dines on the season.
TAMUC enters the weekend led by Ronnie Morgan’s 14.1 ppg, while Brian Singleton is right behind at 13.6 ppg and Brad Hambrick rounds out the double-digit averages at 11.9 ppg.
Morgan also leads the Lionms on the boards with 7.0 rpg, while Cardell Hunter leads the team in assists with 4.1 apg.
