DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern’s Amanda Tanner has been tabbed the Lone Star Conference North Division Pitcher of the Week following her performance in the Savage Storm’s series against Southwestern Oklahoma State.
Tanner helped lead SE to a 3-1 week against Southwestern Oklahoma State in a matchup that was key to keeping SE in contention for the LSC postseason Tournament.
She tossed a pair of complete games, winning both, including pitching SE’s first shutout of the season.
Tanner posted a 0.50 ERA, allowing just one run over 14.0 innings. She surrendered just two walks, while striking out seven and holding opponents to a .259 batting average.
Southeastern will finish the season with a series against Central Oklahoma, beginning Tuesday afternoon in Edmond, Okla., with the regular-season coming to an end on May 1 with a double-header slated for 2 p.m.
