KC Pfister earned LSC Hitter of the Week honors after batting .857 in a sweep of ECU.DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern’s KC Pfister has been named a Diamond Lone Star Conference Hitter of the Week following his monster performance against rival East Central.
In the Savage Storm sweep of ECU, Pfister posted a .857 batting average, going 12-for-14 at the plate, while boasting an .800 on base percentage and a 1.857 slugging percentage.
He finished the series with five doubles, three home runs and 12 RBI, in addition to scoring 12 runs. He also drew four walks and did not strike out.
Pfister put together a streak of 12 at bats in which he reached base safely, and only four times on the weekend did he not reach base, with two of those producing runs on sac flies.
Southeastern will next see the field when they travel to Abilene, Texas, to play in the Lone Star Conference Tournament, opening with Angelo State at 3 p.m. on May 1.
