Southeastern Director of Athletics Keith Baxter lines up a put at the 2010 Gridiron Golf Shootout.DURANT, Okla. – A group of 70 golfers made of up Southeastern football supporters and SE alumni converged on Silverado Golf Course June 26 for the Sixth Annual Gridiron Golf Shootout to benefit Savage Storm football.
In all, 17 groups took to the course in the scramble, with the foursome of Chase Todd, Kory Cole, JB Busby and Jeremy Turner taking home the top prize.
The second place group consisted of Scott Crain, Paul Aycock, Brad Aycock and Jay Mauck, while the third place team included David Dewalt, Bill Russell, Zack Powell and Jordan Powell.
“It was another great event,” said head football coach Ray Richards, “It’s always fun when we get a group of former athletes, alumni and supporters out here for this event.”
