DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern softball coach on Faubion has announced the addition of Dakota Palmer to the 2011 Savage Storm roster.
Palmer, a native of Binger, Okla., transfers to SE as a sophomore from Northwestern Oklahoma State, where she split time between second base and the outfield.
At NWOSU, she played in 54 of the team’s 55 games, primarily in a defensive capacity, posting a .927 fielding percentage.
Off the field she was on the President’s Honor Roll, while in high school she helped her team to the state tournament and was her class valedictorian.
“She will add speed and depth to the roster,” said Faubion.
