DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will set out to even out its record when it heads to Arkadelphia, Ark., for the Great American Conference opener against Henderson State on Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m., followed by a Nov. 22 trip to Southern Arkansas for a 4 p.m. tip.

The Savage Storm head into the weekend with a 1-2 mark on the season, but are coming off an 89-59 victory in the home opener over Arlington Baptist.

Sami Bzai each scored 20-plus points it he game as four SE players reached double-figures.

Powell paces the Storm offense on the year with 18.3 ppg, while Bzai is not far behind at 16.7 per outing.Â
Taylor Smaller is pitching in 15.0 ppg, while
Darius Harris is turning in 11.7.

Harris is also averaging a double-double with a team-best 12.3 rebounds per game as the Storm holds a 46.3-to-40.7 edge on the glass.

HSU comes into the game with a 1-1 record which includes a 65-61 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville.

The Reddies are led by Reggie Murphy who is averaging 14.5 ppg and a team-best 8.5 rebounds per outing, while Charles Wesley is dishing out 4.0 assists per game.

The Muleriders open their season on Nov. 20 in a GAC contest against Southern Nazarene, but did win their lone exhibition game, 69-67, over Arkansas State.
