The Savage Storm men enter the weekend with a 5-3 record and a 1-1 mark in Great American Conference play after splitting its league-opening road trip by taking a 59-56 decision over Ouachita Baptist in its last outing.
SE will be riding the hot hand of
Chris Roussell who is leading the team in scoring at 15.9 ppg after posting the team's top scoring performance of the year, 29 points, in the win over OBU.
He is joined in double figures by
Steven Kohli who is at 13.3 ppg and
Mateus Oliveira who is posting 10.5 ppg, while
Andris Misters and
Travis Timmons are both just shy of 10 points per game.
Roussell and Kohli are neck-and-neck atop the rebounding chart for the Storm, with Roussell posting 7.6 per game and Kohli right behind at 7.4 per contest.
Timmons leads the team with 7.5 assists per game while piloting the SE offense that is averaging 79.0 ppg as a team.
The Wonder Boys come to Durant with a 2-3 record on the year, but are 1-0 in league play following a 72-67 win over Southern Nazarene.
ATU is led by Jared Williamson who is scoring 10.2 ppg, while Will Paul is right behind at 9.6 ppg.
Willie Kirkland is the team's top rebounder at 4.4 per game, while five others are averaging three rebounds per game or better.
Three players are dishing out two or more assists per game, led by Kendall Pinkney.
The Bisons come to town with a 6-0 record on the year and a 1-0 mark in GAC play after an 80-67 win over SNU.
Zach Roddenberry leads HU in scoring with 21.7 ppg, while three others are averaging in double-digits.
Roddenberry also paces the team on the boards with 9.5 rpg, while Bradley Spencer is next in line at 7.3 rpg.
Weston James and Spencer each average in the neighborhood of four assist per game.
