General Information
The Athletic Training Department at Southeastern Oklahoma State University is comprised of Nationally Certified and State Licensed Athletic Trainers who are committed to providing the best possible medical care to our student-athletes. Athletic Trainers (ATs) are health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions.
The Athletic Training staff is responsible for preparing student-athletes for daily practices and weekly competitions, as well as coordination of medical referrals to Southeastern Oklahoma State University Team Physicians and other medical professionals. The goal of the Southeastern Oklahoma State University Athletic Training department is to return all student athletes to competition as quickly as possible, keeping in mind their best interest.
The Athletic Training Department staff and students will follow the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA) Performance Domains and Code of Ethics, as well as all National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations.

Visiting Teams
Student athletes from visiting teams will be extended the same courtesy and respect as the student athletes from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Visiting teams will have the opportunity to utilize athletic training facilities and equipment before and after competition.
If the visiting team is traveling without a Certified Athletic Trainer, we ask that a stocked medical kit and a list of the teams needs are sent with them.
The SE Athletic Training Staff will adhere to the Great American Conference Handbook in regards to visiting teams and supplies provided for home events.
