Southeastern Women Host SNU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will be looking to put a tough road trip in the rear view mirror when it hosts Southern Nazarene on Jan. 19 at 5:30 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Savage Storm come into Saturday's meeting with a 5-9 record overall and a 3-5 mark in Great American Conference play.
 
SNU comes into the weekend with an 8-7 record overall, a 5-3 mark in league play and are coming off a 73-60 win over East Central on Thursday night.
 
SE had put together a three-game winning streak before suffering back-to-back road losses to Southwestern Oklahoma State and Northwestern Oklahoma State.
 
The Storm is been led by the guard duo of Bailey Welch and Ronay English who are each averaging in double-figures.  Welch leads the way with 11.1 ppg, while English checks in at 10.8.  Haley Schaefer is not far behind with 9.9 ppg.
 
Welch has regained the team lead in assists with 3.4 assists per game and has moved into third on SE's all-time assists list, while Taylor Richards is right behind for the season with 3.1 apg.
 
Schaefer's 6.1 rebounds per outing leads the team, while three others are averaging four-or-more per game.
 
The Crimson Storm is led by Oumoul Thiam who is putting up 22.7 ppg, while Annie Kassongo is also in double-digits with 13.1.
 
Aminata Fall is averaging near a double-double with a team-high 11.6 rebounds per game along with a 9.4 ppg point average.
 
Marsha Durr leads the team in assists with 2.9 per game.
