SEARCY, Ark. – Southeastern closes out the regular season with a 2 p.m. matchup against Harding on Saturday afternoon in Searcy, Ark.
The Savage Storm head into the contest with a 10-15 record overall on the season and an 8-11 mark in Great American Conference play.
SE has locked up the No. 6 seed in the upcoming conference tournament in Bartlesville, Okla., but is still waiting to learn who its opponent will be in the No. 3 seed. The Storm will have a lot to say about it as HU is fighting East Central for that spot.
Southeastern does have a win over the Bisons already this season, taking the first meeting in Bloomer Sullivan Arena by a 72-60 margin.
Bailey Welch led the charge that night with 14 points and seven assists, while
Ronay English and
Emily Williams came off the bench to chip in 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Williams and
Haley Schaefer pulled down six boards each to lead the team.
