SE Aims to Get Back on Track at SNU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern aims to get back in the win column when it treks to Bethany, Okla., for a 2 p.m. matchup against Southern Nazarene on Jan. 18.
 
The Savage Storm enter the contest at 8-5 overall and 5-2 in Great American Conference play, but have dropped back-to-back games for the first time this season.
 
SE is led by a trio of double-digit scorers, paced by the 11.7 ppg that Breana Small-Peppers provides for the lineup.
 
Haley Schaefer is right behind at 11.3 ppg, while Emily Williams is adding 10.8 per outing.
 
Taylor Richards facilitates the offense from the point guard position with a team-best 3.2 assists per game.
 
The same trio that lead the team in scoring also lead it in rebounding with nearly identical numbers.
 
Small-Peppers is pulling down a team-high 7.8 rpg, followed by the 7.3 by Williams and the 7.2 per game by Schaefer.
 
Southeastern is out-rebounding foes 45.5-to-41.5, and still outscores its opponents by 4.4 points per game.
 
Southern Nazarene enters the weekend matchup with a 7-7 mark overall and a 4-4 record in GAC play.
 
The Crimson Storm is also coming off a 62-44 loss to East Central in its last outing.
 
Kristin Milster paces a trio of high-scorers for the club at 16.8 ppg, while Aminata Fall is right behind at 16.2 per game and Callee Cox is third at 15.0.
 
SNU averages 70.0 ppg as a team, but is allowing its opponents to put in 71.5.
 
Fall leads the team on the glass with 14.5 rebounds per game, while the next highest rebounder is Milster at 4.8 per game.
