DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will set out to build on its back-to-back wins when it begins the second trip through the Great American Conference schedule with a road swing to Ouachita Baptist on Jan. 30 and Henderson State on Feb. 1.

The Savage Storm will square off with the Tigers at 5:30 on Thursday night before closing out the road trip with a 2 p.m. matchup against the Reddies on Saturday afternoon.

SE enters the trip with a 10-6 record overall and a 7-3 mark in GAC play, which is good for second in the league standings beside Southwestern Oklahoma State and two games back in the loss column from league-leading Harding.

The Storm are coming off back-to-back home wins over East Central and Arkansas Tech.

Emily Williams led the charge for the week, especially with her 27 point outburst in the 67-63 win over ATU.

That outing lifted her scoring average to a team-high 12.9 ppg, while Breana Small-Peppers and Haley Schaefer are averaging 11.7 and 11.1, respectively.

The trio each average seven rebounds per game as the team holds a 44.1-to-41.4 rpg edge over its foes.

SE opened the league schedule with wins over both OBU and HSU in November, downing the Reddies by a 78-62 mark and the Tigers by a 65-55 score.  Both games were in Durant.

Ouachita Baptist comes into the contest with a 4-13 mark overall, a 2-9 record in league play and has lost five of its last six games.

The team is led by Nashia James who is scoring 14.6 ppg and pulling down a team-high 5.5 rebounds per contest.

HSU comes into the weekend with a 12-5 overall record and a 7-4 mark in GAC play.  The Reddies are also winners of three-straight.

The club is paced by the league's leading scorer Aungelique Sledge who averages 21.9 ppg, while Krystal Beachum is adding 13.2 per contest.

Dulincia Keener leads the way for the Reddies on the glass with 8.0 rebounds per game.
