DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern aims to pick up its first win of the season when it hosts Arlington Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 17 in the home opener at Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The Savage Storm come into the home opener with an 0-2 record after road losses to Central Oklahoma and Northeastern State over the weekend in the MIAA/GAC Challenge.

SE had four players average in double-digits for the weekend, led by
Taylor Smaller who averaged 18 with five threes.

Darius Harris turned in an all-around performance on the weekend, averaging a double-double with 10.5 ppg and 15.0 rebounds per outing, including a 19 rebound performance against UCO. He also added 5.5 assists per game and four blocks per contest.Â

Danny Powell added 15.5 ppg on the strength of a 17-of-20 performance form the free throw line, while
Sami Bzai added 15.0 per game with a 5-of-9 performance from three point range.

Southeastern held a 45.5-to-41.0 edge on the glass, highlighted by Harris' 15.0 rpg, while the defense added 14 blocked shots over two games.

Arlington Baptist comes to town off a 65-63 loss at John Brown in their season opener.

Josh Green turned in 22 points in the effort, while Willie Clayborne came off the bench to add 19.

Green and Quitnon Moore led the team with six rebounds each.
