Urald King, Southeastern was unable to overcome a tough shooting second half en route to an 82-76 loss at Southwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday afternoon in Weatherford, Okla.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 6-15 overall on the year and 4-12 in Great American Conference play.

King finished with a game-high 25 points on a 10-for-15 shooting performance.

Darius Harris added 19 points in the effort on 7-of-10 shooting, while
Taylor Smaller chipped in 10 points with a pair of threes.

Smaller dished out eight of the team's 21 assists, while on the glass it was Harris who pulled down a team-high eight rebounds with King right behind at six.

The Storm shot 64.0 percent in the first half to survive the Bulldogs seven first-half threes and SE led 37-34 at the break.

Southeastern scored the first five points of the game but the teams traded one possession leads until the Storm rattled off five-straight points and took a 24-18 lead with 7:55 to play in the half.

That lead would expand to eight points with just over four minutes to play, but SWOSU scored 12 of the last 19 points of the half to cut the SE lead to 37-34.

SE maintained a lead for much of the second half until the Bulldogs forced a 54-54 tie with 8:21 to play.

The Bulldogs, however, would score 12 of the next 14 points to take a double-digit lead.

The Storm would close to within four points, but SWOSU would hold off a rally to preserve the 82-76 final score.
