SE Hosts Non-GAC Foe on Tuesday

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will take one last step out of conference play on Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m. when it hosts South Dakota School of Mines in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Savage Storm come into the meeting at 6-15 on the year and following the game will be looking at its final four Great American Conference matchups in an effort to qualify for a third GAC Postseason tournament.
 
SE has dropped three-straight games by a combined score of 12 points coming into Tuesday's matchup.
 
The Storm continues to lean heavily on Urald King who who is averaging 16.3 ppg on the year and is just short of a double-double season average with 9.1 rebounds per outing.
 
Taylor Smaller has stepped up his scoring numbers and is now averaging 11.7 ppg on the year and is dishing out 4.1 assists per contest.
 
John Balwigaire is averaging 10.2 ppg, but has played in just 13 games this season and has been harried by injuries.
 
SDSM comes into its final road trip of the season with a 6-17 record, dropping five-straight heading into a Monday night contest at Dallas Baptist.
 
The team is paced by Michael Dietz with 14.5 ppg, while he also leads the way on the glass with 6.1 rebounds per outing.
 
Erron Collins leads the team in assists with just over two assists per game.
