DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will continue its hunt for a spot in the conference tournament when it hosts Southern Nazarene at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The Savage Storm enter the matchup with a 7-15 mark on the year and a 4-12 record in Great American Conference play, and enter the weekend a half-game behind Ouachita Baptist for the final spot in the GAC Postseason Tournament field with four games to play.

SNU comes into the matchup with a 13-10 record overall, but an 11-6 mark in GAC play and is currently third in the league.

SE will be looking to avoid the outcome of the team's earlier meeting in January when the Crimson Storm handed the Savage Storm an 84-51 loss.

Anton Cook was the only Southeastern player in double-digits in that contest as he finished with 14 points, while Urald King picked up 10 rebounds and eight points.

SNU got 29 in the effort from CJ Smith and 10 more from Francisco Hukill.

King paces the Storm offense to the tune of 16.4 ppg on 58.9 percent shooting, and also leads the team on the glass with 9.3 rebounds per outing.

Taylor Smaller is turning in 11.7 ppg while also leading the team in assists with 4.2 assists per game.

John Balwigaire rounds out the double-digit averages with 10.2 ppg, but has been limited on the year due to injury.

SNU comes into the meeting on a five-game winning streak that included an 83-69 win over East Central last game out.

Smith leads the way on offense with 21.8 ppg, while Quan Conner is next up at 17.1 ppg.

Smith and Antwone Jackson are each averaging just over five rebounds per game, while Conner dishes out a team-best 3.1 assists per game.
