SE Hosts SNU in Key Saturday Matchup

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will set out to improve its spot in the standings as well as attempt to avenge an earlier loss when it hosts Southern Nazarene at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Savage Storm enter the contest at 13-9 overall on the season and 10-6 in Great American Conference play.
 
The Crimson Storm comes to town with an 11-12 record overall and an 8-9 conference mark.
 
The two teams met in Bethany, Okla., in late January where SNU picked up a 90-85 win.
 
Emily Williams turned in a 28 point scoring effort in that contest, while Olivia Potter chipped in 11 points in the losing effort.
 
Kristen Milster turned in 28 points for SNU in the matchup, while Callee Cox added 18 and Aminata Fall chipped in 13.
 
Williams paces the Storm on the year with 15.1 ppg, while also adding 7.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per outing.
 
Breana Small-Peppers, who has missed several games due to injury is still second with 11.7 ppg, while Haley Schaefer is putting up 11.0 ppg while also adding 6.5 rebounds.


SNU comes into the Saturday contest off a 71-68 win over East Central.
 
They are led by a trio of double-digit scorers, with Fall leading the way at 17.8 ppg, while Milster is right behind at 17.2 and Cox rounds out the trio at 15.7
 
Fall averages a double-double with 14.7 rebounds per game.
