DURANT, Okla. – Heading into the final week of the regular season, Southeastern has two games to get a leg up in the race for the final spot in the Great American Conference Tournament, and that begins with a 7:30 p.m. matchup at rival East Central on Feb. 27 in Ada, Okla.

The Savage Storm come into the matchup 8-16 overall on the year and 5-13 in GAC play which locks them in a tie for the final playoff spot with Ouachita Baptist.

SE faced the Tigers on Jan. 22 in Durant, with ECU pulling out a 64-59 win.

Taylor Smaller led the Storm scoring in that contest with 14 points, while
Urald King turned in a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds.

King is the team's leading scorer for the season, averaging 16.9 ppg on the year and nearly posting double-double averages with a team-best 9.3 rebounds per outing.

Smaller and
John Balwigaire join him in double-figure scoring averages with 11.4 and 10.5 ppg, respectively.

Smaller also leads the team in assists with 4.1 per game.

The Tigers enter the Thursday matchup with a 14-10 mark overall and an 11-7 record in league play, but are in the midst of a three-game losing skid.

They are also led by a trio of double-digit scorers, with Colby Carr leading that group with 14.3 ppg, while Brandon Lucas is next up at 12.2 and A.J. Moutry right behind at 11.2
