Southeastern Set for Rivalry Matchup

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will be looking to both sweep East Central in the season series and catch them in the Great American Conference standings when the teams square off on Feb. 27 at 5:30 p.m. in Ada, Okla.
 
The Savage Storm come into the matchup at 13-11 overall on the season and 10-8 in GAC play, but are currently on a three-game losing streak.
 
The long-time rivals first met on Jan. 22 in Durant with SE picking up a 78-68 win.
 
In that outing, Kaylie Baxter turned in her best performance of the season to lift the Storm to a victory, turning in 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead all players in both categories.
 
Cheree Kiser added 15 points off the bench, while Emily Williams and Haley Schaefer each chipped in 12.
 
For the season, Williams paces the Storm scoring with 16.1 ppg and is coming off a career-high 30 points in a loss at Arkansas Tech.
 
Breana Small-Peppers is turning in 11.6 per game, while Schaefer averages 10.8.
 
Williams and Small-Peppers lead the team in rebounding with 7.6 per game each.
 
ECU is paced by a foursome of double-digit averages, led by Alycea Price who is turning in 12.2 ppg.
 
Erin Walling is adding 10.7 per outing, while Dilan Webster and Ashley Robison are each averaging 10.5 per game.
 
Price also leads the team in rebounding with 7.3 rpg, while Alex Tucker is dishing out 3.7 assists per game.
