SE Hosts No. 3 HU on Senior Day

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will close out its regular season on Saturday afternoon at noon when it hosts No. 3 Harding for senior day in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Savage Storm come into the regular season finale 13-12 on the year and 10-9 in Great American Conference play.
 
SE is locked into the five seed for the conference tournament in Bartlesville, Okla., beginning March 7 and will play in the 8 p.m. game against either East Central or Arkansas Tech.
 
Saturday will be the final home game for seniors Ronay English and Natalie Ruud.
 
Southeastern will be looking to both snap a four-game losing skid and avenge an 80-62 loss at Harding earlier in the season.
 
In the first meeting with the Bisons, Emily Williams turned in 18 points and 13 rebounds to lead the way while Kaylie Baxter added 11 points.
 
For the year, Williams leads the team with a 16.0 ppg average, while Breana Small-Peppers is at 11.7 per outing and Haley Schaefer is averaging 10.9 ppg.
 
Small-Peppers leads the team in rebounding at 7.6 per game, with Williams right behind at 7.5 per outing.
 
The nationally-ranked Bisons are led by Kristen Celsor who is averaging 17.9 ppg, while Shana Holmes is in double-figures with 12.4 per contest.
 
Arielle Sanders is pulling down a team-high 9.0 rebounds per game, while A'ndrea Haney is averaging 4.0 assists per game.
