DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern returns to the court for the first time in 2015 when it takes on Southwestern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m. on Jan. 3 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The Savage Storm enter the weekend with a 10-2 record and a 3-1 mark in Great American Conference play.

SE finished the 2014 portion of the schedule with a 74-64 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan back on Dec. 18 and has been on break since then.

The Storm is paced on offense by
Emily Williams who is averaging 18.6 ppg on the year and has tallied scoring outings of 40 and 34 points.

She is joined in double-figures by
Olivia Potter who is turning in 10.9 ppg, doing so almost entirely from behind the arc where she has hit 40-of-76 shots, while going 3-of-10 inside the arc.

Kaylie Baxter is just behind with 9.1 ppg, while three others are averaging at least five points per outing.

Williams also leads the team on the glass with 7.5 rebounds per game, while Baxter is right on her heels with 7.2 per contest.

Taylor Richards leads the team with 3.3 assists per outing, while five others have at least 20 assists total on the season.

The Storm offense is averaging 74.0 ppg while holding opponents to 59.3 per contest while shooting 42.8 percent as a team from the field and 40.4 percent from long range.

The Bulldogs come to town with a 3-7 record overall and an 0-4 mark in GAC play, but are coming off a win over USAO that ended a three-game losing skid.

SWOSU has four players averaging in double-digits, led by Chelsea Bates who is scoring 12.1 per outing, followed by Jennifer Williams at 11.7, Jessica Penner at 11.0 and Kimmi Sawatzky with 10.4.

Korina Chapman paces the team in rebounding with 8.0 per game, while Penner is right behind with 7.9.
