DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern finds itself in an important game with significant Great American Conference standings implications as it opens the second trip through the conference schedule with a 7:30 p.m. matchup against Southern Nazarene on Jan. 26 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The Savage Storm enter the contest with an 8-10 record on the season and a 4-6 mark in GAC play which is good for a three-way tie for seventh, a tie which includes SNU.

While SE is sixth in the league in scoring, it ranks fourth in field goal percentage at 45.4 percent, fourth in free throw shooting at 71.7 percent and third in three-point shooting at 37.4 percent.

The Storm also hold an edge in scoring over tis Monday opponent by a mark of 72.1-to-68.8.

The offense is paced by
Danny Powell who is fifth in the league in scoring with 16.1 ppg, while
Taylor Smaller is 10
th at 14.6 per outing and
Sami Bzai cracks the GAC's top-25 with 10.6 ppg.

Southeastern is third in the conference in rebounding with 37.2 boards per contest, led by second-ranked
Darius Harris with 8.6 rpg, while Powell is seventh in the GAC with 7.3 and
Antonio Worthy ranks 17
th with 5.2.

Smaller also ranks sixth in the conference in assists with 3.5 per game.

SNU enters the matchup with an 8-8 mark overall and its own 4-6 conference record, and is 3-5 since SE handed the Crimson Storm a 74-58 loss in Bethany on Dec. 6.

They are paced on offense by LB Willis at 13.8 ppg and Francisco Hukill at 11.8, while Hukill leads the team on the glass with 6.4 rebounds per game and Willis dishes out a team-best 4.6 assists.
