DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will make its longest westward trip of the season when it heads to Alva, Okla., to take on Northwestern Oklahoma State at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 29.

The Savage Storm will be looking to put together back-to-back wins after downing Southern Nazarene on Monday to lift their record to 13-6 overall and 6-5 in Great American Conference play.

SE's win moved them back into a tie for fourth in the league standings.

Monday's win also saw
Emily Williams turn in 23 points and in doing so became the 11
th player in program history to surpass 1,000 points.

The outing also lifted her average to 17.8 ppg which puts her fifth in the conference in scoring, while her 7.3 rebounds per game are good for seventh and her 2.8 assists per outing are good for 10
th.

Olivia Potter is the only other SE player averaging in double-figures at 10.3 ppg, doing so with a league-best 57 three point field goals made while shooting 44.9 percent from long range.

Kaylie Baxter is adding 8.6 ppg while also chipping in 6.9 rebounds per contest, while three others are averaging six or more points per contest.

The offense is scoring 72.4 ppg and shooting 40.6 percent from the field on the year, including a 37.1 percent team effort from three-point range.

NWOSU enters the contest at 6-11 overall on the year and 5-6 in league play which is good for sixth in the standings.

The Rangers are paced offensively by Kalea King who is averaging 10.1 ppg, while Kaci Hansen is hauling in a team-high 4.0 rpg.Â
