DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will set out to get back in the win column and even its conference record when it hosts Arkansas-Monticello at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 8 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The Savage Storm enter the contest at 6-7 on the year and 2-3 in Great American Conference play following a last-second 61-60 defeat at the hands of Southwestern Oklahoma State.

Darius Harris and
Taylor Smaller led Southeastern in that game with 15 and 14 points, respectively, while
Danny Powell and
Trevor Jackson added eight points each.

Powell added 11 rebounds while he and Smaller each dished out three assists.

Powell leads a trio of double-digit scorers for the Storm with 16.2 ppg which is good for fifth in the GAC.

Taylor Smaller is next in line with 13.8 ppg and
Sami Bzai is right behind with 12.2.

Darius Harris leads the team and the league in rebounding with 9.1 rpg, while Powell is sixth in the league with 7.8 per contest.

Smaller is eighth in the GAC in assists with 3.2 per game.

The Storm is averaging 74.6 ppg and holds a 3.2 ppg scoring margin edge over its opponents which is good for third in the league among a group playing many close games with seven teams within plus or minus three points per game in margin.

UAM has dropped three-straight with the last coming at the hands of Arkansas Tech 76-63 in Russellville, Ark.

Sharif Hudson leads the team on offense with 15.7 ppg, while Jamal Peterson and D'Audrio Patton join him in double-digits with 13.1 and 10.0 ppg, respectively.

Hudson and Patton lead the team on the glass with 6.3 and 6.2 rpg, while Hudon has dished out a team-high 18 assists on the season.
