DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern returns to the court for the fifth game of its six game home stand when it hosts Arkansas-Monticello at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 8 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The Savage Storm are coming off an 81-78 win over Southwestern Oklahoma State which moved the squad to 11-2 overall and 4-1 in Great American Conference play which is currently good for fourth place.

Against the Bulldogs
Madison Thames turned in a season-high 21 points and
Emily Williams added 18 points and 13 rebounds to help hold off a late charge.

Williams continues to lead the team in scoring with 18.5 ppg which also puts her fourth in the GAC in points per game.

Williams also leads the team in rebounding and is fifth in the league with 7.9 rebounds per game.

Joining her in double-digit scoring is
Olivia Potter who is averaging 10.7 ppg, doing so with a conference best 3.2 three point makes per game and is second in the league with a 50.0 percent clip from behind the arc.

Kaylie Baxter also ranks in the GAC top 10 in rebounding with 7.2 rpg.

Taylor Richards has dished out a team-high 42 assists, but Williams and Baxter have each added 30 or more assists on the season as SE has tallied 222 on the year and leads the conference with 17.1 apg as a team.

Southeastern is third in the league in scoring and fourth in scoring defense for a scoring margin of 13.8 ppg which is third best in the league.

UAM enters the Thursday matchup with a 5-6 record overall and a 3-3 mark in GAC play coming off a 70-61 road loss to Arkansas Tech.

The Cotton Blossoms are led by Jordan Goforth who is turning in 19.9 ppg on the season, while Nikki Mullen is the only other player in double-digits with 11.9 per outing.

Tori Nichols leads the team in rebounds with 6.5 rpg with Goforth right behind at 6.3 per contest.

Courtni Gibson has dished out a team-best 22 assists, while Mullen is right behind at 21.
