Storm Set for Arkadelphia Road Trip

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern sets off on its first conference road swing looking for its first conference win as it travels to Arkadelphia, Ark., for a Dec. 3 matchup with Ouachita Baptist at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Dec. 5 meeting with Henderson State at 1 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm come into the weekend with a 1-5 record on the year and a 0-2 mark in Great American Conference play.
 
SE jumps back into league play after splitting a pair of non-conference matchups.
 
Olivia Potter paces the team with 14.7 ppg, doing a bulk of her damage from long range where she is shooting 44.4 percent from behind the arc with a league-best 24 threes already over six games.
 
Kaylie Baxter and Rachel Wallace are both checking in with double-digit averages at 10.3 and 10.2, respectively.
 
Taylor Richards is dishing out 3.8 assists per game, while the Storm is handing out 15.5 per game as a team.
 
Katie Webb leads the way on the board with 6.2 rpg, while Wallace and Richards are next up at 5.5 and 5.3, respectively.
 
SE is outscoring opponents 67.2 to 62.3, and is putting up more points than its foes in every quarter of the game except the first.
 
The Tigers enter the weekend with a 1-4 record overall and are 0-2 in league play, but were winners in their last game out, 66-64 over Texas A&M-Commerce.
 
Breanna Harris leads the way with 14.6 ppg, while Katie Kapler is next in line at 13.2 per outing.
 
Kapler also paces the club in rebounds at 7.2 per game, while Katherine West has dished out a team-high 2.0 assists per contest.
 
The Reddies are 2-4 to open the season, but those two wins were in their first two conference matchups, making them 2-0 in league play.
 
They are led by a foursome of double-digit scorers with Dulincia Keener pacing that group at 13.8 ppg, followed by Victoria Stewart's 13.5, Haleigh Henson's 12.8 and Brittany Branum's 10.8.
 
Keener and Branum lead the way on the glass with 7.7 rpg each, while Henson is dishing out 2.3 assists per game.
