SE Set to Host Muleriders

DURANT, Okla. - Southeastern will look to get back in the win column and shake off a last second road loss when it hosts Southern Arkansas on Feb. 5 at 5:30 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The contest will also mark 80's Night in Bloomer Sullivan Arena as fans are encouraged to support SE wearing their favorite 80's outfits.
 
The Savage Storm com into the matchup at 13-7 overall on the year and 6-6 in Great American Conference play, but are coming off a last-second loss at Northwestern Oklahoma State.
 
SE won the first meeting with the Muleriders 72-48 in Magnolia, Ark., and have gone 8-7 since that November meeting.
 
Emily Williams continues to pace the club with a 17.6 ppg average, while Olivia Potter joins her in double-figures with 10.1.
 
The team is averaging 72.1 ppg and beating its opponents by an average of 8.9 ppg.
 
Williams paces the squad in rebounds as well at 7.2, while Kaylie Baxter is adding 6.8 rpg.
 
SAU comes into the contest with a 5-14 record on the season and a 3-10 mark in league play, with a 1-4 record in its last 5 games, with the one win coming over then No. 20 Arkansas Tech.
 
The Muleriders are led by Rosa Bryant with 12.4 ppg with Chanel Miller right behind at 11.9.
 
Bryant also leads the team in rebounds at 6.0 rpg.
 
SAU is averaging 63.5 ppg as a team, while opponents are outscoring them by 6.1 ppg.
