SE Women Open GAC Schedule on the Road

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will open the Great American Conference portion of its schedule when it travels to Arkansas-Monticello for a 5:30 p.m. matchup on Nov. 17 in Monticello, Ark.
 
The Savage Storm will follow that up with a 1 p.m. contest on Nov. 19 with Southern Arkansas in Magnolia, Ark.
 
SE comes into the weekend with a 1-1 record after picking up a 70-60 win over Northeastern State in the season opener before falling to host Central Oklahoma 91-73.
 
Rachel Wallace led a trio of players to average double-figures over the weekend, turning in 15.0 ppg while hitting a ridiculous 7-of-9 from behind the arc.
 
She was joined by Alix Robinson who had 12.0 ppg and hit eight threes over two games, while Olicia Potter was on her heels at 11.5 per game with six threes.
 
The Storm shot 38.8 percent from long range and made 26 threes to their opponent's 14.
 
Sa'Liesha Hunter dished out a team-best 4.0 assists per game over the opening weekend, while SE held a 25-to-23 edge in assists for the weekend.
 
Wallace also led the way on the glass with 7.0 rebounds per outing, while Katie Webb was next in line at 5.0 per game.
 
UAM enters Thursday's matchup at 2-0 on the season after wins over Christian Brothers and Dallas Christian to open the year.
 
Ayesha Wahed leads a trio of double-digit scorers with 12.5 ppg, while Regerina Baker is next up at 12.0 per contest and Treasure Evans is adding 10.5 ppg.
 
Mia Hayes leads the team in assists with 6.0 per game, while Baker is pulling down a team-high 9.0 rebounds per outing.
 
SAU comes into the weekend with an 0-1 mark after dropping its season opener to Philander Smith.
 
Anna Djedjemel leads the team with 14.0 ppg, while Demi Read and Jaida Harden are adding 13.0 per game each.
 
Alyssa Hamilton leads the team on the boards with 8.0 rebounds.
