DURANT, Okla.  – Southeastern was unable to hang onto its momentum from a Saturday sweep, dropping the final two games of the Southeastern Regional Invitational with a 7-0 loss to Pittsburg State and a 6-3 loss at the hands of Central Oklahoma on Sunday afternoon at the Durant Multi-Sports Complex.
 
The losses drop the Savage Storm to 2-4 on the year heading into the UAM D-II Softball Classic Feb. 12-14 in Bentonville, Ark.
 
Jessica Simmons turned in a 2-for-3 effort at the plate in game one, collecting two of the team's five hits in the game.
 
Jessica Seay was saddled with her first loss of the season after tossing 3.0 innings and allowing five runs, four earned, on four hits with one strikeout.
 
Hunter Offill threw an inning in relief and allowed a pair of unearned runs with one strikeout, and 
Ashley Moore finished the game with 3.0 innings of work with three strikeouts and no hits allowed.
 
PSU picked up an unearned run in the first and added four runs on a grand slam in the third before getting two more unearned runs in the fourth to fashion the 7-0 final score.
 
The Storm collected four hits in the finale with Simmons, 
Destiny Riddle, 
Courtney Riddle and 
Jordyn James each picking up one.
 
Courtney Riddle would drive in a pair of runs, with James adding the third RBI.
 
Destiny Riddle took the loss after tossing 3.1 innings and allowing four runs on seven hits, with 
Emily Cudd coming on in relief for 3.2 innings in which she allowed a pair of runs on two hits.
 
A pair of homers staked UCO to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first, but the Storm had an answer with a Courtney riddle RBI double which plated Simmons and 
Destiny Riddle, followed by an RBI single by James which scored Beal to knot the score at 3-3.
 
However, the Bronchos would add a run in the fourth, with another in the fifth and one in the sixth to take a 6-3 lead which would hold to be the final score.
