DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern women's basketball will be returning to Stephenville, Texas, for the first time since the 2010-11 season, when it travels to take on Tarleton State at 2 p.m. on Dec. 30.

The Savage Storm come into the 2017 meeting with a 6-3 record and well rested after a 21 day layoff since a Dec. 9 road loss at Rogers State.

The last time SE faced TSU in the regular-season it was a hard-fought December contest which came down to the final seconds with Jasmine Hughey hitting a half-court buzzer beater to lift the Storm to a 78-77 victory.

Southeastern comes into the 2017 contest featuring a trio of double-digit scorers, led by Katie Webb who is second in the GAC in scoring at 18.8 ppg, while
Emem David is chipping in 11.4 ppg and Alix Robinson is dropping 10.1 per outing.

The Storm is outscoring opponents 68.0-to-63.7 per game and is outshooting it foes in all three shooting categories.

Sa'Liesha Hunter is dishing out a team-high 3.1 assists per contest, while the Storm have piled up 14.8 assists per game as a team.

David leads the way on the glass with 8.8 rebounds per outing, while Webb is not far back with 7.6 rpg while SE matches its opponents board-for-board at 37.6 per game.

The TexAnns come into the matchup with a 6-5 record on the year, but have won their last two outings.

TSU is led by Mackenzie Hailey who is turning in 15.8 ppg on the year, while Katie Webster and McKinley Bostad are at 11.8 and 11.6 ppg, respectively.

Hailey also leads the tea in rebounds with 6.3 per outing.
