DURANT, Okla. –
Tyler Lonzie turned in a monster double-double with 26 points and 14 rebounds to lead Southeastern to a dominating victory over Southwestern Oklahoma State, 86-59 on Saturday afternoon in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The win moves the Savage Storm to 10-16 overall on the year and 6-14 in Great American Conference play.

Lonzie finished the night 9-of-15 from the floor with a 8-of-9 effort at the free throw line while hauling in 14 boards, including four on the offensive end. He also dished out three assist and posted three blocks.

Anton Cook turned in the team's second double-double on the night as he finished with 15 points on the strength of a pair of threes and added 11 boards.

Bobby Johnson came off the bench with 14 points and a trio of threes to round out the team's double-digit scorers.

The Storm shot 46.8 percent from the field and hit 10 threes while going 18-of-22 at the charity stripe.

Jett Jobe handed out a team best five assists, while
Kevin Buckingham turned in four with the team racking up 19 combined.

The Storm also held a 50-to-30 edge on the glass.

After SWOSU opened scoring with a pair of buckets, it was the Storm who answered with a 12-0 run capped by a Cook three to take the lead for good by the 15:00 mark of the first half at 12-4.

The Bulldogs would trim the lead back to two points, but SE responded with a
Kyle Roberts three and by the 8:11 mark would push the lead to 29-18 on a Buckingham three.

The visitors again made a move, closing to within five points, but Southeastern would score the final seven points of the half to go to the locker room up 43-31.

An 11-3 run to open the second half by the Storm was topped off by a Cook three-point play which extended the lead to 54-34 just over four minutes into the half.

SWOSU would close the gap to as narrow as 15 points, but would get no closer as SE would take a 30 point lead on a Jobe three at the 6:01 mark before settling in for an 86-59 win.
