DURANT, Okla. – After opening the season with an overwhelming victory, Southeastern will hit the road to face its first in-region test as it takes on Pittsburg State at 11 a.m. on Nov. 16 in Pittsburg, Kan.

The Savage Storm make the trip with a 1-0 record after putting together a 98-25 win over Dallas Christian in the season opener on Nov. 9.

Katie Webb returned to form in her first game since suffering a season-ending injury during the first semester of the 2017-18 season. She finished the contest with 20 points in 22 minutes played, shooting 7-of-10 from the floor and 6-of-6 at the free throw line while completing a double-double with 10 rebounds.

Alix Robinson was not far behind, finishing with 18 points thanks to a 6-of-10 effort from behind the arc, while
Kamryn Cantwell and
Briley Moon each turned in 14 points in their first collegiate contests.

Webb and
Tracy Johnson each dished out six assists to lead the Storm offense on its way to 26 assists as a team.

As a team the Storm shot 50.0 percent from the field and hit 44.1 from long range, draining 15 threes on the night.

Pitt State comes into the Friday matchup with a 1-1 record on the season, opening the year with a 94-81 win over Northern State and falling 66-55 to Minnesota State-Moorhead.

The Gorillas are led by a trio of double-digit scorers, with Maya Williams turning in 12.5 ppg, while Kaylee DaMitz is at 12.0 per game and Meghan Maher is adding 10.0 per outing.

Williams leads the team on the glass with 7.5 rebounds per game, while DaMitz is dishing out 4.0 assists per game.
