DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern women's basketball will open the 2018-19 season on Friday afternoon when it hosts Dallas Christian at 4 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
The team will celebrate veterans with a special "Military Appreciation Night," featuring free admission for veterans and current military members with a valid military ID. In addition to the free admission, members of the Oklahoma National Guard will present the colors prior to the game, and service members will be recognized with a video tribute at halftime.

The Savage Storm come into the season picked to finish fifth in the Great American Conference in the league's preseason poll.

SE finished the 1017-18 season with a 13-15 record on the year and an 11-11 mark in GAC play.

Southeastern welcomes back a pair of starters, including former All-GAC honoree
Katie Webb who missed most of last season with an injury.

Webb averaged 18.8 ppg and 7.6 rpg in a handful of contests to open the year, and she is joined by
Alix Robinson who turned in 8.8 ppg n the year, hitting a team-best 67 threes for the season.

They will be joined by a group of six newcomers who look to replace the loss of six players from last season's squad.

DCC comes to town 0-2 on the young season, falling to Mid-America Christian 102-51 last time out.
