Savage Storm Return Home to Host SNU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will return home for the Great American Conference home opener when it hosts Southern Nazarene at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 6 in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Savage Storm come into the week with a 2-3 record overall and a 1-1 mark in GAC play after splitting a road swing against Oklahoma Baptist and Southwestern Oklahoma State.
 
SNU comes to town with a 1-5 record overall on the year and a 1-1 mark in league play after splitting its first two games and earning a home win over East Central.
 
SE is paced by the league's leading scorer in Katie Webb who is turning in 22.2 ppg while shooting 57.7 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from three-point range.  She also ranks third in the GAC in rebounding with 8.2 rpg, while dishing out 3.0 assists per contest and adding nine steals and three blocks total on the season.
 
She is joined in averaging double-figures by Kamryn Cantwell and Alix Robinson who are averaging 10.4 and 10.2 ppg, respectively.
 
Tracy Johnson leads the team in assists with 3.6 per game, while Webb and Robinson are averaging 3.0 each.
 
Southeastern's offense is outscoring opponents 73.9-to-68.8 on the season.
 
The Crimson Storm enters the week led by Abby Niehues who is averaging 10.2 ppg on the year and shooting 46.3 percent from the field while also pacing the club on the glass with 6.8 rebounds per contest.
 
Alexus Jones sets up the offense to the tune of 4.7 assists per game, while the team is averaging 53.8 ppg and allowing opponents to score 63.2 per outing.
