BETHANY, Okla. – Southeastern had a tough time on the glass on Friday night and a second-half run by Southern Nazarene would spell trouble for the Savage Storm in a 68-54 loss in Bethany, Okla.
 
The loss drops the Savage Storm to 14-12 overall and 13-8 in Great American Conference play heading into the regular season finale on Saturday night against Northwestern Oklahoma State at 7:30 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
A'Torey Everett led all scorers with 17 points, while 
Jett Jobe was next in line for the Storm with nine. 
Adam Dworsky and 
Markell Henderson each turned in seven.
 
Dworsky dished out three assists to lead SE.
 
Markell Henderson and 
Jose Libanio hauled in five rebounds each to lead the team on the glass.
 
Both teams got off to a slow start, but SE clicked a little better early with a Dworsky three opening up an 8-2 lead at the 14:37 mark of the first half.
 
SNU answered though with 11 straight points as part of a 19-4 run to take a 21-12 lead with 5:57 to go in the half.
 
A Jobe three would end the run and 
Myles Nesbitt would cap a 12-4 run by SE to close the gap to 25-24 before heading to the halftime break down 29-26.
 
The teams matched each other early in the second half with SE once again closing to a 34-31 deficit on a 
Markell Henderson dunk at the 17:12 mark.
 
Over the next eight minute though, SNU would reel off a 20-4 run to open up a 54-35 lead with 8:48 to go in the game.
 
The deficit would grow to 21 points before SE would make a 7-0 run capped by a 
Stefan Rosic layup to make the final score 68-54.
