DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will set out to stretch its winning streak past four games when it heads into back-to-back contests against long-time rivals, first taking on East Central on Jan. 17 at 5:30 p.m. in Ada, Okla., before returning home to host league-leading Southwestern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The Savage Storm enter the weekend at 9-4 overall on the season with a 7-2 record in Great American Conference play. SE has won four-straight to open 2019 and have climbed into second in the league standings behind SWOSU.

Southeastern is second in the league in scoring offense at 80.0 ppg while defensively holding opponents to 63.0 ppg which ranks third in the GAC.

The Storm are paced on offense by
Katie Webb who leads the conference in scoring at 20.7 ppg, and is the only player in the league who ranks in the top-five in scoring and rebounding, pulling down 8.0 rpg.

Webb heads into Thursday's matchup on the cusp of a pair of career milestones with 987 career points and 499 career rebounds, with a chance to climb onto the career lists for both categories in the same contest.

Kamryn Cantwell who is 11
th in the GAC, and the leader among freshmen, in scoring at 14.0 ppg, as well as
Briley Moon who is averaging 10.7 ppg which ranks second among the league's freshmen.

As a team the Storm rank at the top of the league in assists, dishing out 17.8 per game, led by Cantwell's 3.1 per outing which is seventh in the GAC and Webb's 3.0 apg which makes her the only player in the league ranked in the top-10 in points, rebounds, and assists.

ECU comes into Thursday's matchup winners of eight-straight with an 11-3 record overall and a 6-2 mark in GAC play, a half-game behind the Storm in third place.

They are paced by Lakin Preisner on offense who is averaging 14.1 ppg, while Tia Williams joins her in double-figures with 11.7 per outing. As a team the Tigers are putting up 68.7 ppg while opponents are scoring 58.9 per outing.

Preisner also leads the way on the glass with 8.2 rebounds per game, while also dishing out a team-high 2.3 assists per contest.

SWOSU heads into the weekend with 13-1 record overall and an 8-0 mark in league play.

They are paced by a trio of double-digit scorers, led by Hailey Tucker who is second in the conference in scoring behind Webb at 19.3 ppg. The Bulldogs lead the league in scoring at 85.0 ppg, and are allowing opponents to score 65.9 ppg.
