SE Set to Host Ouachita

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern aims to bounce back from back-to-back losses when it welcomes Ouachita Baptist to Bloomer Sullivan Arena for a 5:30 p.m. contest on Jan. 24.
 
The Savage Storm come into the meeting with a 9-6 record overall on the year and a 7-4 mark in Great American Conference play which still ranks them fourth, just one game out of second place and a half-game behind third.
 
SE is the league's number two scoring offense behind Southwestern Oklahoma State who handed the Storm its last loss, but despite falling in the game, Southeastern managed to score 83 points and is now averaging 78.8 ppg on the season, four points better than third place Henderson State.
 
A big part of the Storm offense comes from the league's leading scorer Katie Webb who is putting up 21.1 ppg and has two 30-point scoring outings over her last three games played. She shoots 55.6 percent from the field and is pulling down 8.3 rpg and dishing out 3.0 assists per outing, making her the only player to be ranked in the top five in scoring and rebounding, and one of two players to rank in the top 10 in points, rebounds and assists in the league.
 
 She is joined in double-figures by Briley Moon who is putting up 10.8 ppg.
 
OBU comes to town in a four-way tie for eighth place in the GAC standings with a 3-7 conference mark and a 5-11 record overall.
 
The Tigers are 11^th in scoring at 61.8 ppg, while their defense is ranked 12^th and is allowing 75.1 ppg.
 
Alivia Huell leads a trio of players averaging in double-figures, putting up 13.2 ppg while also leading the team in rebounds with 7.6 per outing.  Madison Brittain is averaging 12.2 ppg and paces the team in assists with 2.6 per game.
