DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern women's basketball will open its home slate on Nov. 16 when it hosts Oklahoma Christian at 7 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The Savage Storm opened the 2019-20 season with a thrilling win on Wednesday over Texas Woman's, using a
Briley Moon three with two seconds to play in overtime to swipe a 61-59 road win in the season opener.

In the opening win,
Kamryn Cantwell led the Storm offense with 18 points, while
Katie Webb was next in line with 15.
Tracy Johnson came off the bench to add 12 pints in the effort, with
Neely Noel doing the same to add seven.

Cantwell also handed out four assists, while
Haiden Williams and
Jordan Benson dished out two apiece.

Webb just missed a double-double with nine rebounds, while Cantwell was right behind with eight boards.

The Eagles will be opening their season on Saturday, but did split a pair of exhibition games, defeating York 78-56 before losing to Mid-America Christian 80-71.

Emma Epperly led OC against MACU, turning in 18 points, while Shelby Sanderson added 16 in the effort.

Katie Mayo led the team with seven rebounds.

The Eagles head into the 2019-20 season picked to finish 12
th in the 17-team Lone Star Conference.
