Storm Open GAC Play with OBU, SWOSU

DURANT, Okla. – After picking up a win in its home opener on Saturday, Southeastern women's hoops will tip off the Great American Conference schedule with big back-to-back home contests, first hosting Oklahoma Baptist on Nov. 21 at 5:30 p.m. before facing Southwestern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m. on Nov. 23, both in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Savage Storm come into the conference opener with a 2-0 record on the year after an overtime win at Texas Woman's to open the season and followed with a 90-66 win over Oklahoma Christian in the home opener.
 
Southeastern is averaging 75.5 ppg offensively, while posting a 13.0 ppg average margin of victory.
 
Kamryn Cantwell leads the team in scoring, rebounding, and assists two games in with 16.0 ppg and 7.0 rpg, with 5.0 assists per outing.
 
Katie Webb is right behind her with 15.5 ppg and 6.5 rpg.
 
Briley Moon is next in line with 9.5 ppg and has snagged 2.5 steals per game, while Chandler Kemp is putting up 8.5 ppg.
 
OBU comes to town with a 2-2 record on the season, picking up wins over Ozark Christian and Rogers State after opening the year with losses to Pitt State and Washburn.
 
Kalifa Ford leads a foursome of players averaging double-figures, putting up 18.0 ppg while also hauling in a team-best 7.8 rebounds per outing.
 
Jaylin Stapleton leads the team with 4.8 assists per game.
 
SWOSU comes into the weekend with a 3-1 record on the year, falling to Lubbock Christian in its last outing.
 
Maddie Sperle leads the Bulldog offense at 18.5 ppg, while Taber Beer is handing out 4.2 assists per outing.
 
Bethany Franks paces the team with 7.8 rebounds per game.
