th-ranked SE to 5-2 overall on the season and 3-1 in GAC play and into a tie atop the league standings heading into a non-conference matchup with Arlington Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 16 to close out the fall semester.

Kamryn Cantwell poured in a game-high 21 points, hitting 6-of-14 overall and 4-of-7 from beyond the arc and added five rebounds.

Katie Webb finished the game with 13 points on 2-of-7 shooting, with most of her points coming on a 9-of-13 effort at the free throw line.

The Storm finished below its season average in assists with nine as a team, led by Webb's three. Webb also snagged a team-high three steals.

Logan Oestreich pulled down a team-leading seven rebounds, while Cantwell's five boards was next in line.

The Storm shot 30.9 percent from the field and 24.1 percent from beyond the arch, while SNU hit 47.3 percent overall and nearly 70 percent in the fourth quarter.

The Savage Storm hit a pair of threes in the first quarter but were still playing catch up for much of the frame after tying the contest at 4-4, SNU would jump ahead by as many as seven points.

SE would close the gap to 15-12 late on a pair of Johnson free throws, but the Crimson Storm would take a 17-12 lead into the first quarter break.

The Savage Storm picked up the pace in the second quarter, erasing a seven-point deficit and tying the game on a Cantwell free throw and taking its first lead on a pair of Webb freebies, going up 25-23.

The Crimson Storm would jump back in front, but a late push capped by a pair of Cantwell free throws would give SE a 33-31 lead at halftime.

A 3-of-14 effort in the third quarter would prevent the Storm from building on its lead, while SNU bounced back with a 4-of-8 mark from the field and 9-of-13 free throws to regain the lead and leave SE trailing 48-45 after three quarters.

Southeastern was unable to fend off a 69.2 percent shooting effort by SNU in the fourth quarter as the Savage Storm shot 40.0 percent from the field over the final frame and hit three three-point buckets, but never fully recovered after the Crimson Storm put together an early 7-0 run and pulled away for the 72-60 final score.
