DURANT, Okla. – No. 12/14 Southeastern had a pair of 20-point scorers while
Adam Dworsky flirted with a school record as the Savage Storm cruised past Arlington Baptist 98-68 on Monday evening in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 6-1 on the year heading into it Hoops in Hawaii road trip featuring games against Simon Fraser, Alaska-Anchorage, and Colorado Mines Dec. 19-21 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Kayo Goncalves posted a career-high 26 points on the strength of a 7-of-10 performance form three-point range, while
Kevin Buckingham turned in 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the floor.

A'Torey Everett also reached double-digits with 13, while
Kellen Manek finished with nine and Dworsky turned in eight.

For the second time this season Dworsky finished one assists shy of tying the school record for assists, turning in 15. He has now posted double-digit assists in five of his seven outings this season.

Goncalves posted a double-double with another career-high in rebounds, finishing with 14, while Buckingham just missed the double-double with nine.

Buckingham turned up the defense as well with three blocked shots and four steals.

The Savage Storm led from wire-to-wire, with Goncalves hitting a three which was followed up by a pair of long bombs from Manel to open up a 9-0 lead to start the game.

SE would lead by as many as 16 points early, but a Patriot run would narrow the Storm advantage to 23-17 with 9:15 to go in the first half.

A Goncalves three-point play would end the scare and open a 17-3 run capped by a Buckingham Fastbreak bucket to take a 40-20 lead.

The Storm would eventually take a 44-26 lead into the locker room at halftime.

A 12-2 run to open the second half would push the SE lead to 28 points and it would grow to hit 30 on an
Al Ervin layup with 13:27 to play.

The lead would reach its high point with 57 seconds to play on a
Ziga Zatezic three to put Southeastern ahead 98-63 before ABU finished with the final five points to fashion he 98-68 final score.
