DURANT, Okla. – No. 14/18 Southeastern will be well rested when it shakes off the two-week break to return to Great American Conference action on Dec. 7 when it travels to Alva, Okla., to take on Northwestern Oklahoma State at 3 p.m.

The Savage Storm come into the contest at 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in league play, while the Rangers enter the weekend at 3-5 with an 0-2 mark in GAC action.

SE moved up in the polls despite being off since a Nov. 23 win over Southwestern Oklahoma State, and remains in the rankings for the first time since the 2006-07 season.

Offensively, all five Storm starters rank in the league's top-15 in scoring, led by
Kevin Buckingham whose 19.3 ppg is fifth best in the league.

A'Torey Everett is seventh in the GAC at 18.3 per game, followed by
Kayo Goncalves in 12
th with 16.3 per outing.

Adam Dworsky and
Kellen Manek are tied for 15
th in the conference with 13.8 ppg each.

Goncalves is third in the league in rebounding with 9.5 rpg, while Everett and Manek are ranked 14
th with 6.5 per game.

Dworsky leads the league and the nation in assists by a wide margin and averages a double-double with 12.8 assists per contest, more than four assists per game more than second place in either ranking. As a team, the Storm rank third in the nation in assists with 21.5 per game.

NWOSU has won its last two outings and are led on offense by Parrish Hewitt who is averaging 13.5 ppg while Jaedon Whitfield is next in line with 12.3 per game.

Whitfield leads the Rangers with 7.5 rebounds per outing, and AJ Jones is dishing out a team-best 5.8 assists per game.
