ALVA, Okla. – Despite hitting 10 threes as a team Southeastern's offense had a tough time hitting shots, shooting 29.8 percent for the game and falling at Northwestern Oklahoma State 90-44 on Saturday afternoon in Alva, Okla.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 11-11 overall and 9-9 in Great American Conference play.

Katie Branam led the way for the Storm with 11 points in her return to the starting lineup, while
Neely Noel came off the bench with 10, with
Alix Robinson just shy of double-figures with eight.

Branam, Noel and
Maci Turkoly each hauled in four rebounds to lead the team.

Branam led the Storm in the first half with nine of the team's 23 points, hitting 3-of-3 from beyond the arc.

SE had trouble getting the offense moving out of the gate, falling behind 18-5 early and would trail 25-10 at the quarter break.

Branam would hit back-to-back threes to open the second quarter to close the deficit to nine points.

NWOSU responded with nine-straight points and would maintain a double-figure lead through the quarter, sending SE to a 43-23 deficit at the half.

Things did not get easier in the second half as the Rangers outscored the Storm 31-10 to mount a 74-33 lead after three quarters.

SE hit three threes in the fourth quarter, but shot 28.6 percent overall from the floor and was outscored 16-11, leading to a 90-44 final score.
