Savage Storm Open Tourney Vs. SNU

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – No. 6 seed Southeastern will open play in the quarterfinals of the Great American Conference Tournament when it faces third-seeded Southern Nazarene at 2:15 p.m. on March 8 in Bartlesville, Okla.
 
The Savage Storm come into the postseason with a 14-12 record overall and will be making their 13^th-straihgt postseason appearance after posting a 12-10 GAC record, including winning three of its final four outings.
 
SE heads into the postseason averaging 70.0 ppg on the year while holding foes to 64.6 per outing.
 
The Storm is led by GAC Freshman of the Year Briley moon who comes into the tournament averaging 10.5 ppg but has turned in 13.5 per contest in her last four games. She also carries a team-high 4.1 rpg.
 
Katie Branam is next in line on offense with 9.4 ppg, while Alix Robinson is averaging 8.3.
 
SE split with SNU during the season, cruising to a 66-49 win in early December before dropping the rematch 54-46 in early February.
 
The Crimson Storm come in averaging 62.5 ppg while allowing opponents the exact same.
 
SNU is led by Adrienne Berry with 11.7 ppg, while Abby Niehues is next in line with 9.4 per game.
