BETHANY, Okla. – Day two of Southeastern's series with Southern Nazarene was similar to day one as the Savage Storm closed the series with a 9-5 victory after falling 11-5 in game one on Monday afternoon in Bethany, Okla.
 
The split moves the Storm to 20-26 overall on the season and 18-18 in Great American Conference play.
 
In the finale SE got a pair of hits from 
Elexis Watson, including a home run, and five RBI, while 
Symphoni Shomo, 
Destiny Riddle, 
Katie McCullar, and 
Karsyn Brigance each logged a hit.
 
McCullar added a pair of RBI, while Brigance and 
Ivy Amador each had one.
 
McCullar got the start and tossed a complete game in the victory, allowing five runs on seven hits with one strikeout.
 
Watson put SE on the board in game two with a three-run homer in the top of the first inning, which was followed by a McCullar RBI single.
 
The first inning would continue with a Brigance RBI double, followed by an Amador sacrifice fly to open up a 6-0 lead.
 
SNU would chip away at that edge with three runs on the third and one each in the fourth and the fifth to close the gap to 6-5.
 
A two-run Watson single in the top of the sixth would help give the Storm some breathing room as would a McCullar sac fly which pushed the lead to 9-5 which would hold to be the final score.
 
In Monday's opener Shomo, Riddle, McCullar, and Brigance each collected a pair of hits.
 
McCullar drove in a pair of runs, while Amador and Brigance each drove in one.
 
Emily Cudd got the start and took the loss after allowing six runs on eight hits in 3.1 innings pitched.
 
Riddle came on in relief and was tagged for five runs, four earned, on eight hits.
 
SE got on the board first in the game one as Shomo scored when Thompson reached on an error for a 1-0 lead.
 
The Crimson Storm responded with three runs in the bottom of the first with an RBI double and back-to-back RBI singles to take a 3-1 lead.
 
An Amador RBI single in the second would score Wallace and close the gap to 3-2.
 
A pair of SNU homers in the third inning would push its lead out to 5-2.
 
In the fifth a McCullar single would plate 
Hope Deanda and was followed three batters later by an RBI single by Brigance to close the gap to 5-4 midway through the fourth.
 
The Crimson Storm would take advantage of an SE error and tack on two more runs in the bottom of the fifth to go ahead 7-4.
 
McCullar would get SE back on the board in the top of the sixth with an RBI single to score Riddle and close to 7-5, but SNU would answer with a two-run home run in the bottom half of the inning to take a 9-5 lead.
 
The Crimson Storm added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth to stretch its lead to 11-5 which would be the final score.
