Men's Hoops Set for OBU, HSU Road Swing

DURANT, Okla. – No. 19 Southeastern will trek into Arkansas looking to hang onto the top spot in the conference standings as it first faces Ouachita Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 23 before taking on Henderson State at 3 p.m. on Jan. 25, with both games being in Arkadelphia, Ark.
 
The Savage Storm have won five-straight and improved to 14-3 overall on the year and 8-2 in Great American Conference play.
 
SE is averaging 81.9 ppg as a team as all five starters are averaging in double-figures led by Kevin Buckingham's 20.8 ppg while shooting 56.4 percent.
 
Adam Sworsky is next in line with 14.4 ppg while shooting 51.5 percent overall and 44.4 percent from three-point range, while Kayo Goncalves is right on his heels at 12.9 ppg while shooting 50.7 overall and 50.0 percent from beyond the arc.
 
Kellen Manek checks in with 12.1 ppg, while A'Torey Everett is right onn his heels with 11.5 per outing.
 
Goncalves leads the team on the boards with 8.4 rpg, while Dworsky is among the nation's best in assists with 8.9 assists per game.
 
The Tigers come into the contest 7-8 overall and 4-6 in GAC play but picked up a win in their last outing to snap a four-game losing skid.
 
OBU is putting up 70.4 ppg on offense and is led by Raymond Harris with 11.1 ppg.
 
Kandarious Smith is pulling down a team-best 5.0 rpg while Larenz Nero is dishing out a team-leading 2.9 assists per game.
 
HSU comes into the weekend with a 12-4 record overall and a 7-3 mark in league play and is coming off a triple-overtime loss to Arkansas Tech which snapped a six-game winning streak.
 
The Reddies are putting up 86.8 ppg on offense and are Chris Parker who is averaging 16.0 ppg.
 
Raekwon Rogers paces the team on the boards with 7.0 rpg, while Parker is dishing out a team-high 3.3 assists per game.
