Storm Set for Two Game Arkansas Road Trip

DURANT, Okla. - No. 16/19 Southeastern will put its seven-game winning streak on the line with back-to-back road games as it travels to Arkadelphia, Ark., first squaring off with Ouachita Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 23 before closing out the trip with a 1 p.m. matchup with Henderson State on Jan. 25.
 
The Savage Storm are coming off a big road win at Southwestern Oklahoma State, sweeping the season series with the Bulldogs to improve to 12-2 overall and 9-1 in Great American Conference play.
 
The SE offense is outscoring opponents by over 11 points per game and are led offensively by Katie Webb who is averaging 18.4 ppg while shooting 50.5 percent from the field.
 
Kamryn Cantwell is next in line with 15.9 ppg, while Briley Moon rounds out the double-digit scorers with 11.9 per outing while shooting 52.3 percent from the field and 47.6 percent from three-point range.
 
Webb paces the team on the glass with 7.6 rebounds per game, while Cantwell is dishing out a team-best 3.9 assists per game.
 
The Tigers come into the contest 4-12 overall and 1-9 in GAC play and have dropped four-straight.
 
Maija Gertsone leads a group of five double-digit scorers with 12.5 ppg while OBU is putting up 60.3 ppg.
 
Eden Crow leads the Tigers on the board with 7.1 rpg while Makayla Miller is handing out 3.9 assists per game.
 
HSU comes into the weekend with an 11-5 record overall and a 6-4 mark in league play and has dropped two of its last three contests.
 
Hailey Estes leads the team and is averaging a double-double with 13.9 ppg and 10.1 rpg while the team is putting up 76.6 ppg.
