DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern's 
Adam Dworsky put himself in a pair of record books while helping Southeastern to a 100-68 victory over Arkansas Tech on Saturday afternoon in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The win is the second in a row and the second in which the Savage Storm dropped 100 points, lifting the team's record to 17-4 overall and 11-3 in Great American Conference play.
 
Dworsky finished the game with eight assists, and with his sixth of the day he was able to pass Steve Harrell to set SE's record for assists in a single season, and later in the game with his eighth assist he passed Southern Nazarene's Micah Speight who turned in 180 assists during the 2018-19 season mark to take on the GAC's top spot for assists in a single-season.
 
Kellen Manek turned in a game-high 25 points on 7-of-12 shooting with a pair of threes to lead a group of five double digit scorers.
 
A'Torey Everett was next in line with 17 o 6-of-11 shooting with two threes, while 
Kevin Buckingham finished with 16 on the contest and in doing so became just the fifth player at SE and the second player in the GAC to surpass 1,800 career points, bringing his career total to 1,811.
 
Bobby Johnson came off the bench and finished with 14 points, while 
Kayo Goncalves hit 3-of-6 threes and finished with 12 on the night.
 
Goncalves also wrapped up his fifth double-double of the season by pulling down 15 boards to lead all rebounders.
 
Buckingham and Manek each turned in seven rebounds.
 
Southeastern finished the game shooting 57.6 percent from the field and 37.9 percent from three-point range, bolstered by a 61.3 percent effort in the second half.
 
SE opened on a 7-0 run capped by a Dworsky layup and the lead would hit 10 points on an Everett three at the 13:59 mark at 16-6.
 
The lead would remain at double figures until a late Wonder Boy push closed the gap to 35-31 with 3:59 to go in the half, but an Everett jumper would end the run and the Storm would score eight-straight points before a final bucket by ATU trimmed SE's lead to 43-33 at the half.
 
The Wonder Boys would twice close the gap to seven points, the last time coming at 47-40 with 17:14 to play before a 10-0 Storm run capped by a pair of Manek free throws extended the lead to 57-40 with 14:54 to go.
 
ATU closed the gap to 11 points near the midway point of the half, but the Storm would close out the game outscoring the Wonder Boys 35-14 over the final 10 minutes to pull away with the 100-68 win.
