Storm Men Face Tigers, Rangers

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set for a pair of rematches as it first travels to Ada, Okla., to face rival East Central at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 13 before returning home on Feb. 15 for a 3 p.m. contest against Northwestern Oklahoma State in Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
 
The Savage Storm head into the weekend with a 17-6 record overall on the season and an 11-5 mark in Great American Conference play and are in second place in the league standings with six games to play.
 
SE is paced on offense by Kevin Buckingham who is putting up 21.0 ppg while shooting 57.4 percent from the floor and pulling down 7.6 rebounds per outing.
 
Adam Dworsky is next in line with 14.3 ppg while also dishing out a league-best 8.4 assists per game.
 
Kellen Manek is fresh off a career-high 28 points and is averaging 13.4 ppg, while Kayo Goncalves is putting up 12.3 ppg and pulling down a league-leading 8.7 rpg.
 
A'Torey Everett rounds out a group of five double-digit scorers with 10.6 ppg.
 
SE picked up a 79-57 win over the Tigers in the first meeting as Dworsky turned in 25 points, seven assists and five steals.
 
ECU is led offensively by Camron Talley who is putting up 22.3 while Josh Apple is pulling down 7.1 rpg.
 
Southeastern picked up a 73-52 win over the Rangers in their first meeting back in December with Goncalves connecting on 6-of-7 threes to lead the way with 18 points.
 
NWOSU is led offensively by Parrish Hewitt with 15.7 ppg while Jaedon Whitfield is hauling in 6.8 rpg.
